Detailed Cosplay Tutorial – Introduction

As I was mentioning in the last post, I am starting a project. A video blog on making cosplay costumes. And since I will be part of the jury at Otaku Festival in May, I thought I should make a cosplay costume and also show the world how exactly I am making it. This is a tutorial targeting the beginners, since it has everything explained in detail, but also for any other cosplayers who like to share experience with other of their kind.

Thanks, guys. There is a lot of work behind making a complete cosplay costume and those who really want to start doing it should know. Plus, it’s good to see the details in working on something, you may encounter problems that are left out in other tutorials…

So good to see you :D And this will be pretty useful for every cosplayers :D

but I’m almost crying here, cuz half of the tools showed up there it’s not achievable for most of the cosplayers… :|

Also, good luck on the next Mondocon! :D

Hello, Ayla. Actually, the 2 most expensive tools I showed in the video are the sewing machine and the dremel tool. The sewing machine cost me around $100/ 80 Euros/ 350 lei and the dremel tool was around $70/50 Euros/ 200 lei. The hot glue gun was $17/ 12 Euros/50 lei and it was among the expensive ones, I found some with $7/ 5 Euros/ 20 lei. Groups of cosplayers can gather up money and could buy this stuff for all of them if it is really expensive. A solution can always be found! :D
